General Terms and Conditions
1. DEFINITIVE BOOKING
By confirming the booking, the guest accepts these General Terms and Conditions. The legal validity comes into effect with the written confirmation (by post, fax or email) from Waldhotel Davos. Please check this confirmation and report any errors or corrections immediately.
2. PRICES
Unless otherwise stated, prices are per person in CHF, including a rich breakfast buffet, service and VAT. The tourist tax and any local charges are not included in the accommodation prices or other offers and will be charged additionally on site.
3. PAYMENT METHODS
Deposit: Depending on the season, Waldhotel Davos may require a deposit for the booked stay.
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Twint, Maestro, Postcard, Mastercard, Visa, Rekacard (card payment possible from CHF 20).
Foreign currencies: Payment in Euro/US Dollar is possible; the conversion is based on the current daily rate and includes a 3% surcharge.
4. UNUSED SERVICES
When booking a package offer, the included services cannot be reduced and no refund will be given for non-utilisation.
5. UNAVAILABILITY
If, upon your arrival, an equivalent room as reserved is not available for unforeseen reasons, you will be accommodated in a room of the next higher category.
If no room is available at Waldhotel Davos, we will arrange equivalent accommodation in another hotel.
6. CANCELLATION FEES
The date of receipt of the cancellation or rebooking is decisive for calculating cancellation fees. The cancellation fees on the accommodation or other package prices for the entire stay are:

Up to 8 days before arrival: Free of charge, except for stays between 24 December and 2 January (28 to 14 days before arrival 25%, 13 - 1 days 50% of the accommodation (AC)/package price)
7 – 1 day before arrival: 50% of the accommodation/package price
On the day of arrival: 100% of the accommodation/package price
Early departure: 100% of the unused accommodation/package price
Money-back guarantee for cancellations
Credit of cancellation fees for a subsequent stay: Upon presentation of a paid cancellation invoice, we will credit these costs during a new stay within one year from the date of issue of the cancellation invoice under the following conditions:
- Only for direct bookings (intermediaries such as booking.com etc. are excluded)
- The credit is personal and non-transferable. It is exclusively valid for accommodation (not for meals and/or other services).
- A refund for cheaper stays or splitting across multiple stays is not possible.

up to 60 days before arrival: no charge
59 - 30 days before arrival: 25%
29 - 8 days before arrival: 50%
from 7 days before arrival: 100%
These cancellation conditions always refer to the cancellation of the entire group. We accept cancellation of max. 10% of all participants up to 24 hours before arrival free of charge.
7. Non REF Rate | NON-REFUNDABLE RATE
The non-refundable rate is only applicable for accommodation/breakfast and must be booked at least 14 days before arrival. For this low-cost rate, the full invoice amount for accommodation/breakfast is due at the time of booking (credit card). In case of cancellation/rebooking, no refund of the invoice amount will be made.
8. WITHDRAWAL OF BOOKING
Waldhotel Davos reserves the right, in exceptional cases, to declare a confirmed booking invalid without cost consequences for the hotel and the guest and to withdraw from it:
- Uninhabitability of the hotel due to force majeure
- Closure or change of opening hours for economic or legal reasons
- Failure to reach a possibly advertised minimum number of participants
- Delay in a requested advance payment or security deposit according to point 3
9. TRANSFER OF CLAIMS TO THIRD PARTIES
Waldhotel Davos reserves the right, in case of outstanding claims, to transfer these to third parties and to provide information to third parties for creditworthiness checks.
10. JURISDICTION
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Davos. Swiss law applies.
